Lemon sorbet prosecco

This is a delicious fresh glass of fizz, first sampled by us in Puglia, Italy last year -there it tasted wonderful sitting by a pool nearing 100 degrees but is equally fun and light for a sparkling Christmas party lunch.

Prosecco is from the Veneto region of North Eastern Italy – one of my favourites is supplied by Adnams  –  Prosecco Superiore  Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG Il Colle.

Lemon sorbet prosecco

Serves 6

one bottle of cold prosecco

lemon sorbet

6 glassses

Add a small scope of lemon sorbet to each glass and slowly top up with cold prosecco! As simple as that!
